Colin Farrell Turns Hitman for Swedish Director of 'Dragon Tattoo'

Colin Farrell and Swedish actress Noomi Rapace will star as a Bonnie and Clyde-esque couple who go on a violent crime spree in the mob drama 'Dead Man Down.' Niels Arden Oplev, who helmed the original Swedish-language version of 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo,' starring Rapace, will direct from a script by J.H. Wyman ('The Mexican'). Production is set to begin in 2012. Rapace next appears in 'Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows' and Ridley Scott's sci-fi epic 'Prometheus.' Farrell goes from the '80s remake 'Total Recall' to a reunion with his 'In Bruges' director Martin McDonagh with the thriller 'Seven Psychopaths.'
